Since there seems to be no interest in the giveaway, I am cancelling it for now. I came down with a bad head cold and was out of commission for 3 days here and have not been able to finish the album. All the pages are printed, I just want to add some embellishments and other personal touches. Hopefully, I will be able to get to it in the next several days.

I will wait another 2 weeks or so and maybe try the giveaway again.

I have wonderful news! I just discovered something really fun. It’s a scrapbooking software program called MyMemories Suite. It’s so easy-to-use that I made my first photo album in a matter of minutes! I simply picked one of the many pre-made designer templates that comes with the program, selected the photographs that I wanted to use and these beautiful pages were created in minutes! That was it!

I had over 16 pages completed for a scrapbook of Christmas photos that were taken back in 2009. Now if you know me, I spend alot of time designing and a little bit of time creating pages. I have lots of kits, several scrapbook pages, but no actual finished scrapbook to show for all that hard work. That’s where MyMemories Suite comes in. The thing that took the most time when creating the Christmas pages was writing the journaling . . . and even that wasn’t too bad. If you like to create scrapbook pages quickly and effortlessly, then MyMemories Suite is for you!

You can then turn your pages into a calendar, add music to create a movie for viewing on your computer or a DVD for viewing on your own TV. Many different things happening lately

I've been so busy and haven't been able to post here. Lots going on . . . I've teamed up together with Anelia.net to bring you all a beautiful new kit. Days of Wine and Roses has a fun romantic feel with beautiful red, burgundy and green to freshen everything up.

I've also completed the December Create-a-Kit Challenge and the results were fabulous! Spring Victorian Garden page kit is now available at the DID store as well. Here is a preview . . .

We are currenlty working on the January Create-a-Kit Challenge in the forum at DID. Come make some suggestions for the elements to be included in the kit and you could win the kit!

I must say that I've been learning so much from these Create-a-Kit Challenges. I really think this is more of a challenge for me than it is for any of you. All you have to do is make suggestions for the papers, elements and even the name of the kit and you could be a winner. How great is that! I do all the work and you get a reward. But I must also say that what I am rewarded with is helping me tremendously in my designing of new kits. So all of us win!

Also, be sure to keep an eye on the goings on here . . . I have something special coming on February 1st!! (I'm just so excited about it) . . . It's gonna be fun, Fun, FUN!

Been a little busy . . .

These past couple of weeks have been a bit crazy! We've had a wedding and a funeral and I've also been getting the little guy ready for a new school year.

I finally got a new kit in the store today! Daydreaming in School is a fun, whimsical take on a back-to-school kit that I've been wanting to do. With all the distractions I've had of late, this is the result:

Testing out Windows Live Writer

I tried to download this program a while ago because I heard that it was easier to create blog post, but it came up with some type of error message and did not install properly. I did my regular update for Windows just last week and here I see now this program is on my computer. I’m just testing it out to see how it will look.

I am working on a kit and hope to have it done in the next couple of days. If not . . . it will have to wait until the end of next week. We will be going on a road trip along Lake Michigan in Michigan. Can’t wait! I haven’t been any further North than St. Joseph along the lake front and am ready to explore all the antique shops and eateries along the way. Hubby wants to explore Sleeping Bears Dunes and possibly go to Beaver Island? We will see what time will permit.

Anyway . . . here’s a sneak peak of the kit I’m working on.

I Remember Grandma page kit

Here's another kit that I really liked creating . . . it reminds me of the Sundays I spent with Grandma at her house. She'd let me play with all the little goodies in her bedroom and on her dresser. I would try on her shoes and put on her pearls. She'd even help me apply make-up and perfume. It was those fun things that all little girls like to do! The last picture you will find, is a layout I created with the kit featuring my Grandmother.

This kit also contains 2 alphas, it is the same Amaze font, but I have included a chipboard type and a silver metal one as well. It reminds me of the perfect cursive writing, just like Grandma would write! Hope you enjoy this kit as much as I do!
